Biography
Upon receiving her Bachelor's degree in Education and Social Sciences at The University of Hong Kong, Jovita first joined the ILC as a research assistant. She has assisted in content design for projects that aim to improve reflective journal writing and critical thinking of CUHK students. Prior to teaching at the ILC, she has taught English phonics, grammar, and writing to children and young adults in private settings for 10 years. Jovita is interested in English pronunciation for Chinese-speaking learners, especially in phonological awareness and its practical use in English reading and writing.
