Workshop Description
是次講座,特別介紹及討論新著「止戈為武﹕中華武術在香江」。本書以嶄新角度,介紹各門派宗師及歷史、武術宗師如何在港謀生,以至武館是一個怎樣的地方,展現武術與香港社會的互動關係。香港武術的興旺高度影響本地文化,各種媒體,包括電影、電視及溫畫等,都充斥以武術為主題的創作;而社會的發展,由經濟轉型、社會價觀的轉變,以至政治前途的不確定等,都不斷改寫香港武術的發展。 講座有武術示範環節。
Speaker's Bio
劉繼堯,香港浸會大學歷史系博士,現為香港理工大學中國文化學系兼任講師,任教科目包括中國尚武傳統、中國兵家經典、當代中國歷史與文化。研究興趣為中國思想史、武術史、史學史等,尤其關注晚清民國的知識轉型,以錢穆、柳詒徵、唐文治三位先生為研究重心。
盧敬之,築波大學圖書資訊媒體學系副教授,國際螳螂拳學會外展主任,對內家拳、八卦掌、太極拳等皆有研究。
